At the Legg Lake record trials Sunday, Mike Bontoft ran his 25cc Quickdraw powered gas rigger to a NAMBA GX1 straight-a-way record of 93.36 mph average with a one way run of 94.1 mph. This is the fastest any gas boat has gone to date.

Jimmy Johnson and Chris Wittrig also set a NAMBA B Mod Tunnel record of 71.22 mph with their CMB powered tunnel.

There were lots of runs over 100 mph, but I am not aware of any other records.
