SUPER SPORT 45 sport40 class hydro

The Super Sport 45 is designed for the sport40 racing class. The hull is 36 inches long and the beam is 19 inches. The hull is hand laid up in epoxy fiberglass. The cowl is one piece epoxy glass and is trimmed and ready to mount. The engine well is five inches wide and 8-32 Tnuts are installed for the motor mount. The boat can be set up with a front radio box or a rear radio box.

There are three cowlings available for the boat.

GRAN PRIX Open cockpit, limited hydro style

SCALE HYDRO

The Winston Eagle scale hydro kit is all epoxy glass. The kit includes the front wing and cowling and the rear wing. The hull is 1/8 scale 1 ½ inch to the foot. The hull measures 46 ¼ long, 23 inches wide with a tunnel width of 12 inches. The boat has the radio box molded into the hull. The sponson boom tube supports are molded in to the hull. One half inch carbon fiber boom tubes are included in the kit. 8-32 t nuts installed in the front sponson for the turn fin mount

BUD T5 SCALE HYDRO

The BUD T5 2000 scale hydro kit is all epoxy glass. The kit includes the front wing and three piece cowling and the rear wing. The hull is 1/8 scale

1 ½ inch to the foot. The hull measures 45 ¼ long, 23 inches wide with a tunnel width of 11 ¼ inches. The hull has a all epoxy glass engine well

with ¼ inch ply doublers and 8-32 t nuts installed for the motor mounts.

Aluminum plate is installed for the turn fin mount

82U55 SCALE HULL

82 O BOY OBERTO U55

The 8255 hull is 43 inches long and 22 inches wide with a 12 inch wide tunnel. The boat is all epoxy glass. Hull weight is 4 ½ pounds. The 5 inch engine well is molded into the hull and the motor mount t-nuts are installed in a ¼ ply doubler. A front radio box and a rear radio box are available for the boat. A foam core epoxy glass rear wing is available .

This boat had about 20 different sponsors. The 82 U55 O Boy Oberto was the first sponsor for this hull.

It also ran as Exeutone, American Speedy Printing, Miss Rock, Miss Houston, Coors Light, and Boat. The 82-83 boats ran with no rear wing, the 84-92 boats had the rear wing.

I have color photos of most of the boats, 82,84 O Boy Oberto, Speedy Printing red and yellow,

and Speedy blue and white, Exeutone, 83 Houston, 83 Miss Rock, 85 Coors Light, 85 KISW Rock, 88 Pocketsavers.

Karelson 30’ Round Nose

Scale Hydro

The Karleson round nose is 45 inches long and 20 inches wide with a 9 3/4 inch wide tunnel. The boat is all epoxy glass. Hull weight is 4 pounds. The 5 inch engine well is molded into the hull and the motor mount t-nuts are installed in a ¼ ply doubler. The cowling is all epoxy glass and is fitted to the hull.. A rear radio box and Turn fin with aluminum mount are available for the boat.

This hull will make several boats that ran in the 60’s and the 70’s.
