prop trouble with homelite 32cc in Deep Vee

I just got done with my installation of a Homelite 32 cc engine from a chainsaw in my 55" Scarab and yesterday when I went to go test run it, it went backwards instead of forwards! I never looked at which way the engine rotated (clockwise) Is there a reverse rotation prop that I can buy so I dont have to change motors?

You're in luck, Octura makes a few, sizes X470R, X465R, X665R plus a few more in the size range that you need. You might want to look into a reverse wound flex cable also. Expect your handling to be a little different from the norm too. Whew, huh? You can now remove the sweat. ;D

Is that a surface drive or submerged?

useally the starting piont for surface drive is a Prather 270

which is 2.74 in. dia. and 4.2 in pitch compare that to Octura

for starting point for submerged less pitch
