I have unfortunately removed the bottom end needle as part of blueprinting the motor and have forgotten to take note of the low end needle setting.

If someone could please give me a rough setting with the carboy fully open, and the low end needle screwed all the way in, how many turns back from there OR a rough normal running setting worked in the same manner that I can work from.

Please note (not sure if this makes a difference) that this is a NEW CMB 67 with the newer machined billet rear drum housing, not the cast housing.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Tim,

I would start with the first O ring of the low speed needle being flush with the end on the carb barrel. This does not engage the needle at the low end, but gives you a starting point to screw in for adjustment.
