MAC outboard

Hey guys, JUst saw this at Martys site. Andy says it will be available last weekend of March. heres what he had to say:.....

The porting is very nearly the same as the MAC 21 inboard. (3 ports with piston ports). Piston will be skirted. The same con rod. All timing is nearly the same. Carb will look like the MAC 21 inboard only the bore will be 7.5 mm (.295").

PTO will have the bearings spaced wide with the seal area between the bearings. Crankcase and waterjacket are black. Waterjacket and crankcase cooling fin diameter are smaller than the CMB unit, but not as small as K&B.

So what kind of lower unit do you think is recommended for it?

Is the rod the same as the current inboard greenhead?

there was talk about the K&B, but andy also said there "may" be a lower unit in the making also.When it comes out im gonna fit it to a O.S. if the cable will hold up. if not itll go on a k&b 7.5 lower. ???

Tim are the Mac and the Greenhead rod the same?

TIM THE RODS IN THE MAC ARE BUSHED ON BOTH ENDS. I JUST HOPE THE TIMIMG IS NOT TO HIGH.
