Longer trim tabs or weight up front

Would longer trim tabs work better or would adding weight to the front of the hull be better! Both would add drag in some way, Right ?

James, as John has said, you're not going to get far away from the 30% balance point. However, since none of this is really known for this particular boat you are building, it is a good idea to go with what you know ( in this case it is the set-up for the Twincraft ). And yes, both of the above would add drag to the hull; longer tabs would add drag at the REAR of the hull, and weight up front would add drag to the front of the hull ( make the boat run "wetter".............NOT good! ). Only way to see if this particular boats likes/dislikes all of the above is to go out and TEST! Just my opinions........
