Gattorno,

You cannot buy a K&B at the present time > . You can buy an O.S. Max. So, I would say the O.S. is a better buy at this time.

I have done considerable testing with both a stock K&B 3.5ss and stock O.S. Max on the same boat(Dunlap 27). The K&B was 2 - 3 mph faster.

Personally, I think the quality of the O.S. manufacturing is better than the K&B. But, the performance is quite the same.

OOPS!! I just re-read what I wrote about the O.S. and I meant to say the performance isn't quite the same.

well im notsure about in the US, but all the hobby suppliers in Aus seem to be able to get the TT in pretty easily...

Ace Hobbies is the supplier of the Thunder Tiger 3.5 OB. Unfortunately, they don't supply them to the public--only to "qualified distributors".
