Hull ID Please

New to the Water World and I just got this hull hoping to make my start into RC Boats.

I have no idea what hull it is and what motor I should be running in it? It has to slots down the keel... for what purpose, I have no idea? Hoping for any help to this running.

Fill those 2 slits with bondo!

40 inch in length. The beam is 11 inches. The space between the stringers is 3 inches... Can you suggest a suitable motor for this hull?

Finally, what would those slits be used for? I was thinking of filling those with fiber glass tape and epoxy.

Yes fill the slits,,,They would be for a stabiliser fin ,, they are not necessary, .
A 7.5cc (.45)engine be perfect for that hull.

Cmb .45 engine for example.

Thanks David for the motor size recommendation. Will start working on getting those slits filled and hunting for a suitable motor.
