I'm just starting to learn how to use carbon fiber. It is of course pretty spendy. Where is the best place to get lightweight cloth at the best price? The lightest I've been able to find is 2.0 oz. on the internet.

Is there a good place to get it in the Puget Sound region?

Also from a modelers viewpoint ( as in adequet equipment and not overkill) what is the most cost effective way to get a vacume bagging system? Right now I'm just looking at doing small parts but may want to do 1/8th and 1/6th scale hulls at some point.

Thanks, Mike

Give me a call 931-962-5232. I built my vacuum system for about $100. See Joe Woodworker plans http://www.joewoodwo...EVS/concept.htm. I think I posted pics a while back in my gallery. Got most parts off Fleabay. The tank was a portable nail gun air compressor (3 gal) and cost about $15 . Here's a tank example.. http://cgi.ebay.com/...=item51995797e3

I used a twin piston GAST oiless pump that I found there for $75 or so.

Jeremy, I can get 5.7 oz cloth for about $30/yd, but I have to buy the tage end of a roll, maybe 10-20 yds
