can you convert a CMB OB to a IB???

IF so how? DO the motor run the same direction. I have parts from a old inboard and OB has newer parts.

Hi,

You basically just need to swap the cranks as they run opposite directions. But I have to ask why you would waste a perfectly good OB powerhead.

If you decide to switch it over to an inboard. I'll be happy to relieve you of the burdensome PTO and crankshaft ;D

IM JUST ASKING, Its a hell of a OB motor, I didnt know how hard or if you could even convert them over. Just wanted to know if it COULD be done.

was just checking and thanks for the replys and its still tougher and noooooooooo parts are for sale.
