This should help. If you're planning on using a motor like the OEM AQ 2030 a .150 cable is adequate. If you go 1/4 inch tube with teflon with the OEM sized motor, later on if you go larger motor you can pull the teflon and use a .187 cable.

I picked up an angle drive a long time ago. Added some length to the fin. Boat handled well but at the time (this was my third P-Ltd OPC) I still hadn't got the hang of tuning. This one split in two when I accidently drove it into the turn one death buoy at Legg Lake.

The boat in question will have a full P motor - 5000mah no matter how you cut it isn't enough for sprints PLUS a single 4S 5000 would need to be centered where there won't be enough room on the tunnel. 2 X 2S 5000 in series isn't sufficient either as above.
