I've got a Nova Rossi 3.5 identified as a Typ: 6/SMT No. 7263 that I purchased new in, maybe 1992? Imported by Robbe Modellsport, I bought it for a Maus Texan that never saw the water. Can anyone here tell me anything about this motor?

I purchased two riggers this winter that have Teflon sheet glued to the sponson bottoms. I know Teflon is slippery and hydrophobic; does it make a quantifiable difference in performance? I know where to get plasma etched Teflon sheet that will adhere with epoxy, what's the procedure for gluing...
