    End Mill Suggestions

Late to the party, but I am a CNC machinist so I have a bit of relevant experience here. If you are using end mills on a standard type bridgeport manual mill, HSS would work fine for you since you don't really have the RPM to justify carbide. Maritool has great prices on their carbide tools...

New To Building A Hydro - Epoxy Question

Thank you gentlemen. I'll get those hardeners as well. Really appreciate the insight. Can you enlighten me on where I can run the 205? Being my first build i am just sure where I can sacrifice strength for cure time. Ray, I missed that thread. Appreciate you running a search for me. I wasn't...

New To Building A Hydro - Epoxy Question

Hello all, this is my first hydroplane build and I had a few questions on how ya'll are gluing/expoxying your hulls. Is there any type of specific glues or expoxies you use in different areas? I currently have West Systems 206/105 based off of some research I did on here, but will this work to...

    Value of an OPS .65

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the help. There is some good info here. Sounds like he is asking a little too much for it, but if he can come down a little on price, it would be a good motor to have. Thanks again :D

    Value of an OPS .65

Hey guys, I am having a little trouble finding information on any OPS engines. How available are parts for these motors (gold head). My neighbor has a friend that is selling a new one for $300. Is that a fair price? Any downfalls compared to a CMB? Thanks

    Dual plug Head buttons

Not sure how it is in the RC world, but where I come from we race nitro 2-stroke atv motors. Although dual plug heads can have a small advantage over a standard single plug design, unless you are running in excess of 70% the dual plug hasn't shown a great deal of performance gain. The other...

    WTB Dumas Circus Circus kit

He sold it ;) I don't want to get Mikes kit because this is an already partially assembled kit that my dad had started assembling, he then got in a divorce and well...the rest of the kit kind of disappeared somewhere along the way...lol, so I was going to buy him a kit so he could finish it...

    Rotary tools

If you have a Home Depot near you...they carry a lot of various bits, so does Sears.

    Rotary tools

+1 for a Dremel. It is a good rotary too with a ton of bits and attachments.

I saw that, but I would prefer to support the site and its members if possible. Always a last line of defense though. Thanks

    torn rotater cuff

I don't do doctors. I let it heal on its own.

    torn rotater cuff

I just tore mine (while I presume sleeping), and it took 5 months before it felt 80%, and I am on month 7 and I still feel it if I extend my arm fully (like playing pool).

    Squish / Head clearance gauge

I build big motors (not RC), but big record setting 2-stroke motors and the solder test is the only thing I trust. You can have some fluctuation if you go front to back as the piston will rock a little on the pin, but if you do directionally with the pin, you won't get any slop in your reading...
