Hey Scott, Got a 2nd overall at the Brandon Race with the GTX, a lot of complaiments on the hull. Gave a guy your # wants a fiberglass one, when you them get done. It ran great, handled well on Sat.(windy) and Sun.(calm), had to add a 1oz. tank(that CMB sucks some fuel). Keep on pluggin'. Paul

HEY Bill, Pete, Brian and I went to test yesterday but it rained :( , highs in the 70's. We're going to Sarasota to try again on Friday. Hope it warms up there soon gettin home sick :unsure: , we'll be racing at the Brick soon :rolleyes: . Paul

Jerry I remember about the first of the year you were building an Osborn Miss Supertest III with a 21 nitro motor. Iam trying to build one now and was wondering how yours turned out? What mods did you have to do to the hull and what hardware did you use? Yours or anybody elses help would be...

My first starter (after the shoe string) was a windshield wiper motor, I put a moumentary pushbutton in the case(got a battery from an old firealarm system)and a friend machined a pulley for it. Worked for the OS Max I had at the time(1977) :) Paul.

Well this is how I made out, I course sanded both parts , dremel cut criss cross, cleaned with M.E.Keytone,epoxied and clamped. It seems to be holding and is very strong, time will tell. thanks for all your help,Paul

Thanks Gil ,I'll try the epoxy again, both piece were sanded, the epoxy stayed on the carbonfiber but peeled off the raw fiberglass(oppsite side from gel coat). Paul

I am trying to glue a piece of carbonfiber to a fiberglass cowl(for a front support). I have tried NHP 30 min epoxy and CA but they didn't hold,any help would great. :unsure: Paul
