They make a rubber brush that you can buy at Hobby Lobby. It has a nice sharp edge on it and can be used like a squeegee.. I brush on with a cheap chip brush you can get from Harbor Freight then I squeegee excess off with the rubber brush.. cleans up easy so you can continue to use many times
I was thinking of having a die made, have 4 guide pins with one or two punches machined to punch out shims.. I will be able to swap out the tooling on the die to make shims for various motors.. when we have some time in shop I’ll have it made
I reached out to AU Hobbies. He has them, CMB only offers a .004 amd .008 so I’m going to see about having a punch made at work that will cut whatever size I want.. shim stock in cheap not sure how they justify the cost of a head shim? Anyway, thank you for all the information guys..
Yeah I called Igor today and he is going to make me one when he gets back from vacation. Was hoping to not spend 250.00 for a new one as I have already been scammed out of 150.00 for the one that was for sale on Facebook.. I’m into a flow meter now for 400.00… oh well gotta have one
