Mark, I think the Notre Dame that Steve Ball ran successfully was the same Karlsen Hull as the 1968/1969 Bardahl. Most models of this hull were notorious flyers. Maybe Steve can help you with setup data as his boat ran exceptionally well. JB

Chris, If you are sanding epoxy, especially if it sealing the deck or bottom be sure to first use a scotch brite pad and a little water to get the oily type surface off the epoxy. Wipe the surface dry and you are ready to sandpaper. This will help keep the sand paper from loading up. It appears...

Just bought one of these engines. What head clearance are you running after break in? Thanks in advance for info.

I only use Sullivan nylon rod on my HS85mg throttle servos in my 12 outrigger. I stopped using both HS85mg and metal rods years ago, especially on 45 plus sized engines. Vibration eats these little guys up like they are free.

Octura sold the made the kits back in the 70's. Call them they may sell you the plans.
