just wondering if anyone else has used micro servos for the throttle and what their experience was i have gone through 4 different ones on my 45 rigger, they just keep dieing, they only last about 2 days of running and just stop moving and never work again, have also tried rubber mounting them...

could you not run a prop blast pick up?

i used MIG on that one, next one I'll try TIG, i don't have any oxy/acetylene so i cant pre heat how are you rolling the cones, i spent hours bashing them with a hammer over dowels and they came out ok but i'm not doing it again.. total pita

just wondering if you guys have much luck building tuned pipes yourself i made one for a gas engine from .6mm steel sheet hand rolled, i was a pita to make and it kept cracking from the vibration :angry: is there an easier way to do it?

well, guess what, i got some help from a mate and it turns out that the liner has been installed incorrectly, rotated about 90 degrees from where it should have been lol, put it in properly and now it is a totally different engine

the plans were resized and modified a bit on paper but im in Australia so its probably not worth sending it to you and getting a cowl sent over because i dont even have enough money for shipping, thanks anyway though

lol, the fuel tank is just a dubro one until i can get a stainless one no cowl right now either, it usually stalls on the straights though so their is no spray
