wow. At this point you may want to consider carefully replacing the engine rails.This hull had a terrible surface ,so now its sanded nice and flat as level as can be.
Also cut the deck off and going to chop the freeboard 3/4" to give it a sleek dragboat look.
Will sand the inside now and reinforce with carbon.
nice Dave. I assume you will be using polyester resin for lay-up?Inside all sanded back,sizing up the carbon ,and cutting new transom ply and stringers.
yeah, I have another original (brand-new) Prather deep vee hull that I've been planning to do the same- ie. cut-off deck, trim free-board lower, then re-build new deck using plywood bulkheads and sheeting.Yes David a dremel with cutoff wheel,and yes better replace the stringers ha.
