When a Mono and a Hydroplane Merge.

This happened yesterday and the Ford Model Boat Club race in Sumpter Michigan when two novice racer's had a collosion between a gas mono and a gas hydro.

I was looking thru the new pictures and found that I was wondering what the story would be.

That same thing happen to me once. But it was my son driving my mono and it hooked right in front of my hydro. Two boats to fix when I got home.. :angry:

Hey that was one of my RC Marine gas hydros too must be a strong built one to survive that crash.

Look at it this way, a flip top deck on a mono makes everything easy to get at.

That's my P T Gas Sport Hydro, My grandson begged me to let him run it after we could

not get his Gas Mono to run. My boat came away with a 1 inch hairline facture on the sponson.

McCray's boat is repairable it came apart at the seams, the hard part is repairing that super nice

Smokin Joe's paint job. The kids were a little bummed about the crash but I must say Mark was a good

sport about the whole thing .................Teddy D.
