Check this weird system out.

This exhaust looks like an bent HTB to me, but the header is probably a little modified too.

Therefore the whole exhaust is curved around the engine.

Its just a regular stamped Irwin pipe. Some guys like to run them in front of the engine, it helps keep the balance point forward without having to add as much weight.

We are running an outboard pipe on an inboard 21 rigger at the nats this week! Should get some strange looks but it has the header and pipe all in one!!

That's Jim Irwin front mounted pipe for the 7.5 outboard. Jim still has the first pipe on his wall in the garage.I would say that pipe is round 20 years old.
