Gang,

A few of us local RC boat guys headed over to Roberts WI to run on a piece of water that is LOCKED AND LOADED for RC boating.. WE WILL BE BACK!

If we (meaning the clubs in the area) do not take advantage of this pond we are sealing our fate. (BTY.. yesterday all the boats that showed were NITRO POWERED!)

Good times we had, was great to meet and greet you guys ,the place is called Rick's hobby farm, has an RC dirt car track, RC plane airfield and a beautiful pond.!!
What more could you ask for, of course plenty of wind is available on occasions to fly a kite...lol

I did some checking.. this pond is for all accounts the exact same size as the badger pond (almost to a tee) this pond does allow one to go long however.

The badgers have raced on there water for MANY MANY years and continue to do so to this day.. there is NO REASION this pond WILL NOT be the main RC boating pond for western WI or eastern MN.

One note about this location however.. it is privately insured.. and that's a BIG PEROID! It will not be or become IMPBA OR NAMBA insured water.. this pond will however be a great race pond for "club" activities or testing.
