Sullivan Dynatron starter repair

My Dynatron gave up yesterday, it threw a winding and proceeded to chew it into pieces. My question is, Can replacement parts be ordered for these? This was not a fault of the starter as it has been severely abused over the last few years!

I just need a new armature for it, everything else looks to be in good shape.

I think i have a good armature, give me a day or 2 to find it, but to answer your question, yes you can buy repair parts. dont remember where i got mine, but i found a site that had all the parts, even new brush plates!

I believe you can still send the Dynatrons back to Sullivan for repairs. They did a big Model 4 for me about 10 years back, service was excellent! Starter parts listed here- http://www.sullivanproducts.com/StartersMainFrame.htm

I did use a piece of clothesline rope with a little wood handle for years, saw no need for those fancy electric starters ha!! I might add that in those days I couldnt really afford one either!!
