what effect can be seen when the turnfin sponson is close to the tub and away from the tub, for some reason on my hydros (hornet hydros), i find that 4 3/4 out from the tub make the hull turn better. what is everyone's opinion on this subject.

Jeff,

You are very right. Moving the turn fin out makes the boat turn quicker. You will also notice the the rudder will not have to be turned as much to make the same turn.

We moved our sponsons out until the boat started dancing from one to the other and then moved back in just alittle . Scott
