Agreed, I carry 8oz in mine.

2 people in Fl. use 9.5 oz per heat, with modded engines, they are fast sp 21's

I agree with Walt. I had 10 oz cap. in my PT. SS. with a 35+ and in ideal wind and water conditions when I could race flat out for the majority of the 6 laps, I'd burn about 9.5 oz of it. Wish I wouldn't have sold it when the class died up here. It was a blast to race.
