Silent Engines - Harold Epting Saginaw Bay R/C Boat Club

Harold Epting was one of the founding members of the Saginaw Bay R/C Boat Club. Although he never served as president, Harolds voice was seldom heard, but well known. Until a few years ago, Harold was still in the retreive boat with Racing Ralph Barthel. He passes at the age of 85 and was still racing his B mono, Sport 20 and 21 JAE rigger a few times each year when the weather was warm enough. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, Harold was a Pharmacist and co-owner of Dudewicz-Epting Drugs for 30 years.
