Would like to know what everyone out there uses for a pit tool box/bag to carry all of thier tools, extra parts, fuel and such to the pit area.
Your tools & fuel don't go to the pit area.
The wrenching & fueling should be done before going to the hot pits.
Box for the hot pits will have your starter & batteries. What ever you plan to use to ignite your glow plugs with. A glow plug wrench, forceps and maybe a screwdriver.
What ever way you go,,,, organize, organize, organize!
If you would like pictures, I can accommodate.

Doug,

I use a bag just like Mike uses.
They work great. Another good
idea that I use a lot is I make a nice
Boat stand to hold all the tools to
break down the parts on the boat.
I have a lot of boats and boat stands.
About 30 boats in my basement marina
Currently 😎

I use a fishing tackle box from Walmart or another store. Look around to get the size you need. Mine carrys starter, battery for starter, all tools, tape, props, wd 40, & more . This isn't a pit box. I just bring extra glow plug, wrench & glow driver. If you do all your checks before your heat that's about all you need.

Doug, this is my setup, has remained unchanged for many years

The batteries are held to one side by a piece of thin angle aluminum,
The last box I set up for someone came from Academy Sports in the boating department and was white in color. Same size box as the orange one I use.

Also, where did you get your flywheel puller? And it long enough for the cmb v5?
I don't remember??
Should be able to pick one up from McMaster Carr.
Have used it on everything from 21's to 90's
You will also need a flywheel holder.
or find Danny Kings video about removing the collets with an impact driver.
I will get measurements and better pics tomorrow
