Boaters,

Octura just came out with a NEW 1452 propeller. I think this will make a GREAT

Sport 40 prop with a little added cup.

Thanks For Looking,

Mark, Have you seen one used?? How do they perform, or when will you test one out? I have a sport 40 and wouldn't mind trying it out.

My 1450 two blade seems as if it's a little too small.

Rodney,

Your prop isn't to small it just needs to be cupped to 5.0" and then it should

run GREAT. We are running cups at 4.50" to 5.29" with no trouble at all.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund :)

Virgil,

I think that will be a HOT SETUP. I would reduce the prop to 50mm and backcut

the trailing edge a little. Virgil the MAC 45 likes cup also ,so they will need to be

cupped to 4.50" is my guess.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund :)

I'll try the recupping thing. Probably start over so I don't lose the setting on this prop. It is a very good prop.

Rodney,

Have you tried the X-450/3 backcut trailing edge about 20 degrees and pitched

up to 4.74" of cup? This is another HOT SETUP here in District # 2. A lot of racers

here like the 3 blade props. I am getting some new prototypes soon to test on a

scale and Sport 40's. I just tested a new prototype 21 rigger prop that was

AWESOME it even had three blades.

Happy Holidays,
