New ops .45 engine pipe length

I have the newest ops .45 engine with a ops 6280 pipe what is the maximin and minuim pipe length measuring from the center of the cylinder to the weld band on the pipe ?

Depends on the application and how you prop out your boats. If you lug a bigger prop (diameter and pitch) you could run it at 10-5/8 " from plug to weld on the pipe. This was on an old 45 rigger pulling a 1462 prop. The pipe got shorter and shorter but pulling smaller diameter props like a 1655. Somewhere around 9" is where i ended up.
