Needle settings for walbro 257 carby

Hi just wondering if some one could tell me what a starting point is for needle settings on a walbro 257 carby. Its a a 260 mod zenoah.

About 1 to 1 1/4 on HIGH

and 2 to 2 1/4 LOW

Scott, isn't that little rich on the low needle, unless it has been hogged out? Stock 257 low needle is usually around 7/8 or so, right?

it's likley a modded carb since it's a mod engine, so Scott is correct!

The carb needs the low opened up like that even if it is a stock carb on a stock motor.Not the best carb even thou everyone thinks they are.If you try and run it like a stock 644 carb setting will be too lean.
