Here is a brand new Kyosho RC Model Boat Hardware Kit, "Super Screw Set 40". Part No. 2034

This is a very rare, vintage, model marine hardware kit fabricated for hi-performance .40 to .65 size mono or "ski-boat" type hull's. Produced by renowned model manufacturer Kyosho, of Japan, back in late 1970's.

Designed for use on the vintage Kyosho Transonic 400 mono kit. A solid-shaft type drive system, which can be adapted for other popular vintage RC model mono ski-boat hulls, including- Northwind 40 & 60 mono, Dumas SK Daddle ski-boats, Howard Power Mirage, Norco Eaglet, and many other models of your choice.

The components in this kit are of high precision, including- cast aluminum rudder/strut bracket, prop, turn fin, solid stainless shaft & stuffing box tube, stainless rudder blade, stainless water pick-up, strut assy w/stub-shaft, hex tools, detailed instructions, and all hardware. A very complete set.

The kit includes the original storage carton with "Kyosho" printed graphics for the avid RC model collector/constructor. A piece of model boat history.

yes, it is a unique piece. The prop is actually hand-fabricated (two formed blades welded to a hub).

Actually...I have a Transonic 400 kit, untouched that I have been thinking of selling. The Howard Power Mirage was based on the Transonic. The Transonic looks very much like the Northwind and the Eaglet. I have hesitated listing it simply because I don't know how to price it. Don't really want to part with it but I'll never get to it.
I don't mean to hijack this thread...but...this is the hull for that hardware.
I'll post some pictures if there is some interest.

yes, Kyosho produced this hardware kit for the Transonic 400. I don't think you could find another brand-new, original stock, kit like this around. A decent price too.

I also have 01-quan original "Kyosho Super Engine Parts Set". Brand new, never opened. It is pre-drilled for the Enya 40XTV engine (but can be machined to fit other engines). Also includes 01-quan flywheel, and engine coupler nut.

same with my brand-new Transonic 400 kit. But I plan to clean up all original wood parts, and create patterns (into CAD) to fabricate new parts.

Transonic 600 kits are nearly impossible to find these days. I would estimate, like $200.00 to $300.00USD for a new kit
