K&B SS/SX

Guys

Just curious other than the obvious with the SS and the SX

Air Cooled vs Water Cooled heads is there any performance differences etc between the two?is one a little better than the other.

Im running the SS as stock on a Villian at the moment.

Greg,

The SS is the way to go,now just put a M-440 on the shaft and start tuning from there.

What I didn't like about the K&B's is their shaft set up,that is why I chose the O.S..

I HAVE AN SS ON MY MONO HULL STOCK BESIDES RACECRAFT BEARINGS AND A TURBOED CRANKSHAFT. WHAT A SWEETHEART OF AN ENGINE I CAN SET THE THROTTLE AT 1/2 WAY AND LET MY 5 YEAR OLD SON DRIVE THIS BOAT AND IT JUST RUNS AND RUNS. WHEN I POUR THE COALS TO IT IT RUNS REALLY SWEET AND DONT PUT THE BIGGER RED CARB ON IT, IT DOESNT WORK THE STOCK GOLD CARB IS PERFECT.
