I know of a few people out here on the west coast (me included) who are building some inline twin gas rigs and they/we are having concerns about the 1/4 inch flex shaft having the strength to withstand the added horsepower of the twins.

Does anyone have any idea where we can find some 5/16 flex cable?

Thicker flex won't help , it can't stand rev's.

Read the Suhner.pdf L I N K

Breaking flex-drives is due to the poor USA way to make 1/4" flex > 1/4" propshaft assemblies.

Assemble the European way with 8mm propshaft and 1/4" cable and your worries are over.

Scott Schneider has that USA/Europe combo on his mighty twin.

We have twin's , tripple's and quad's running on them , never heard someone had broken the cable.
