Greg's wife sent the following update on his progress from the stroke he had late last year,

"Dear all. Well, after just over five months in hospital Greg came home on Wednesday 21 May. He can walk with a walking stick - not massive distances but can get around the house. His speech is fairly clear, but he still has some hilarious mix ups with communication and can't remember words and names. Unfortunately his right arm has stayed stubbornly paralysed. So he is learning to do everything one handed. He will be connected to the community rehabilitation unit in Philip for ongoing occupational and speech therapy. Thanks to everyone who supported Greg over the last five months while he was in Canberra hospital and at the independent living unit.

Everyone please feel free to email Greg on [email protected] or call/SMS on 0417 246 347. Or call around to our place - he's always home! Cheers Pam"

I spoke to Greg today and he has progressed very well with his speech. So anyone who feels like chat should give Greg a call and let him talk your ears off.
