My little project! ! I was tired of the nicad batteries and loose clamp on the igniter always falling off when the engine fired... So I'm trying the AEO onboard glow driver as a external unit hooked to a 4cell lipo that powers my starter also!..

Supposedly it can handle a 5s lipo but seems to get a bit hot after just 30 seconds ... Might have to down size the lipo.... It puts out 1.5V/3a and gets the plug way warmer then my old nicad one... I will test it out this weekend and let you know how it goes... I think hobbyking sells them for 2-3 and hobbypartz for $6-8

Now to make a 2 jack panel for it....

Let there be LIGHT :D I was looking at one similar but ended up going with a team orion lipo igniter, so far it's awesome and your engines fires straight up love it. Lipos all round now for me now

I was using a old nicad driver also kroggs, you will notice a vast improvment with your lipo set up.....enjoy
