GET YOUR FLAG READY!

Please join us in this FLY THE FLAG campaign and PLEASE forward this email to your friends and family asking them to also forward it. We have less than one week and counting to get the word out all across this great land and into every community in the United States of America.

If you forward this email to least 11 people and each of those people do the same ... You get the idea.

THE PROGRAM:

On Sunday, September 11th, 2011, an American flag should be displayed outside every home, apartment, office, and store in the United States. Every individual should make it their duty to display an American flag on this tenth anniversary of one our country's worst tragedies. We do this honor of those who lost their lives on 9/11, their families, friends and loved ones who continue to endure the pain, and those who today are fighting at home and abroad to preserve our cherished freedoms.

In the days, weeks and months following 9/11, our country was bathed in American flags as citizens mourned the incredible losses and stood shoulder-to-shoulder against terrorism. Sadly, those flags have all but disappeared. Our patriotism pulled us through some tough times and it shouldn't take another attack to galvanize us in solidarity. Our American flag is the fabric of our country and together we can prevail over terrorism of all kinds.

Action Plan:

So, here's what we need you to do ...

(1) Fly an American flag of any size on 9/11. Honestly, Americans should

fly the flag year-round, but if you don't, then at least make it a priority

on this day.

Thank you for your participation.

God Bless You and God Bless America!

while i understand the notion if this,,,and i fly a flag year round....i find it hard for loved ones to get over thier grief if this is brought up year after year....im all for it,,but knowing sombody whos father died there,,and hearing how every time its brought up basicaly brings him to tears..he is one and i would have to agree,,,he just wants to move on in his life,,and the yearly reminder just sets it all back in motion.... i do agree with what you have written...its imortant....we must also think of these guys who mourne every year when its brought up....

my flag all year round PERIOD! alden, i have a tattoo on my left forearm as a reminder and dedication of the 9 people i lost that day.i know it is hard for many to go on,but it is like the ship that lies in pearl harbor as a tribute to those fallen brothers(ex-navy man myself),and all that died that terrible day.every

person is entittled to remember(or not) they way they want. there are many group and orginazation that maybe could be of some help.some people unfortunatly my never be able to move foward.best of luck. mike.

I know after 9/11 it seemed everyone was flying the flag and now you very seldom see any houses with the flag flying, but thye do have the decorative landscape flags and college team flags flying. That is a shame the American flag takes a back seat to alot of American's priorities. Everyone needs to start showing thier patriotic side and fly the American flag.

perhaps some people dont support whats going on right now? So they dont fly a flag for that reason. Just throwing that out there. Im not going to start a political debate, because they are all crooked money sucking leaches. But I know there are alot of people that dont support whats going on right now, so they dont choose to fly the flag. (im not saying I do, or dont support it either way). But this does not mean they dont support and respect there vet's.
