I have had the pleasure of dealing with Dave on one of his pipes.

I am looking forward to getting it and trying it out.

Looking through his website, All the info on Engines and Pipes really sold me.

In a few emails, He wants to hear good and bads about his products he sells.

He only wants to sell the BEST Product to people.

Any guys that run his pipes I would like to know your thoughts on them, and how you feel about them.

Dont think I will be regretting replacing it from a 2 inch band pipe.

Tom I have heard good feedback from the Prestwitch pipe. There is one in our club and it performs as well as all the others but it is quieter which is one of the hardest things to do and the pipe has not lost any power because of the mufler. I think we can all learn a lot from this master.

Regards

Dave

Yes, very good pipe, very quiet and great performance.

Did you get the long one or the short one?

I have the long one in a mono right now but I'm thinking it will balance better in a rigger.

I got the long one. I cant wait to see it.

Talking with dave, he said theres very few in the USA because of the exchange rate and the price.

Well to me, to buy a stainsteel pipe and have it shiped to me, isnt much more than a steel pipe here.

I have only heard great things about him and his pipes.

Mines going on a rigger.

Im sure I will just have to try it on my Cat as well.

Dave Marles' pipes are used extensively in Europe, both for heatracing and enduro racing. They are very quiet and give good power.

Under Naviga rules we compete with 80db on 15 meters distance 90 degrees to travel direction noise rules - I think Andy Brown who has been to a number of the Naviga World Championships can confirm that the boats here are fast and muuuch more quiet than in the US. Something to think about in the US.....

Thanks guys,

I Cant wait to get it, but will have to wait a few months for the water to soften up.

Dave himself is a stand up guy, and thats mainly what sold me.

And don't be surprised when it rev's up to 17.000+ @ 12,6" ........

Did you buy a complete combo ? ( with manyfold and Teflon coupler)

If not ... I advice you to do that .

For use on the Teflon coupler don't use gardenhose type clamps but one of these.

I Got the complete pipe setup. I told him give me everything needed.

You said 12.6 Is that the the setting for the pipe?

17,000+ I see that now. So we are talking 18,000+ :D

Dave said to start at 12. I have a high timed Zen 182 exhaust degrees.

Whats a good starting point?

Does anyone have any pics of HOW they mounted the pipe to the boat?

Its a weird looking cone at the end and would like different pics on how people have mounted them.

Thanks
