So i understand the antenna is installed in the actual reciever , not an add on ? Can multi channel aircraft purpose recievers be used ?More FSs would be best.. one can use a FF BUT.. install the 400mm antenna on them.. heck.. put them on everything..

The point is that it's not ok for NAMBA to race with 75 but with IMPBA it is still recognized as a valid system , which it is .I've been using the 617fs for a long time now with zero issues Tom.
No extended antenna and the antennas are inside the radio box, not one single issue. Nothing against 75 but I'd never go back.
I agree 100% it doesn't make sense other than they won't need to impound radios at races. The point is that it's not ok for NAMBA to race with 75 but with IMPBA it is still recognized as a valid system , which it is .
Radio impounds have been self service down here for 20 years . No issues I can rememberI agree 100% it doesn't make sense other than they won't need to impound radios at races.
It's because nobody wants the hassle of figuring out frequency conflicts. Plain and simple. I bet it's just a matter of time before IMPBA follows suite and goes 2.4 for races..
Agreed. What a waste of perfectly good radio systems. 30+ years of near 100% dependability down the tubes with little to no justification. Futaba isnt the only manufacturer of DSM systems by a long shot......not everyone that runs a boat use a Futaba system...........no problems?? Try a Flysky DSM in a nitro powered race boat and see what happens......will we govern manufacturers next?Radio impounds have been self service down here for 20 years . No issues I can remember
The AMA that has 10 times the members still recognizes 72 mghz as a valid system......
Hey, believe me.. I think it's stupid too...
That is the big question I have .How did NAMBA come to this decision?
Unfortunatly these are the taxes we have to pay to play RC. LolQuestion , what makes an air reciever an air reciever and a surface reciever a surface one in the 2.4 world . Of course with 72 and 75 there were distinct differences . Is FASST not FASST in 2.4 ?
