FE tunnel help

I've got an old 20 size Dumas hot shot sprint tunnel hull and an aquacraft ep1 outboard I'm setting up and would like to swap in a brushless setup from one of the aquacraft boats but have a few questions. First is this do-able and will their ESC's accept lipo power? Would a 2s2p be the right battery setup? Could I build a radio box type of enclosure to put the batteries, esc and radio gear in or would that cause the esc and batteries to get too hot? Thanks

I have no idea if what you want to do will work in that OB hull, but I can answer a few of your other questions.

The Aquacraft ESCs (SV and UL-1) are designed for LiPo power.

The Aquacraft motors are designed for 4S, you will get no useful performance out of them with just half that voltage.

Most all FE boats used a sealed compartment/hull for the packs and ESC, so yes that would work as long as there was airspace.
