I don't know about closest nicest but La Quinta is where most are staying. I don't stay over I travel home from Brandon.

Just wanted to send out a big thank you to John Otto, Marty Davis, and the teamwork of the Brandon and Tampa boat clubs for putting on a great race event. For the food drive we, as a district donated a total of 265 lbs of food to the local brandon food bank, known as ECHO of Brandon. For that effort I want to thank everyone who donated.
