Should the water enter the head from the top, or the bottom?
What about the manifold flange, enter from top, or bottom?

Thanks, that's what I suspected on the head, but did know if it made a difference on the manifold.

Manifold cant get air bubbles since it is just like a pipe. No large space to collect air bubble. I think your doing a dual pick up? If not, hit the head first, then the manifold.

Yes, dual pick-up. It's 36" from the water pick-ups on the rudder, so I want to make sure it gets enough water.
