Build Your Own LED Start Clock....

Off Topic a bit but - Our club had some bad luck with the LED clock and the vendor that we selected this year. Initially was not built as ordered then did not function at all, with lots of finger pointing instead of solutions. VISA stepped in and reversed the charges so looks like the 1300 bucks has been recovered, but what a pain in the butt this was..

This past weekend, the LED clock worked flawless at it's first big race, The Carey Lake Classic.

Below shows the onshore digital clock. This setup worked quite well and saved time each morning setting the clock up.

By having it on th eshore that is one less thing for the drivers to hit in the water.
