Noticed that the APRCRA has posted the Nitro and F/E guidlines (rules) on their site. Here's the link-

Also a schedule has been added.
Well unfortunately it appears alot of suggestions made to the APRCRA fell on deaf ears. A nitro displacement limit of .90cc?!? That's gotta be a typo & if it is and was meant to be .90" then they leave out the top fuel class of nitro racing, the twins, right off the top. Drivers are not allowed to be at the boats when they're started, excuse me? Nobody knows the boat better than the guy who owns it, the driver. A 300'-350' long by a minimum 150' wide course- say what?!? Why does 5th & 6th place both get 100 points?!? They are supplying 87 octane gas for gas class racing, no exceptions- so much for those hot lick high compression QD's. All hulls must be commercially available, boy that really puts the screws to the guys who scratch build. Not to mention the $100 membership fee to join & $35 per boat entry fee at each race. I'm sorry to say but these guys are really missing the boat here, no pun intended. They had two very successful organizations to use as working examples with the IMPBA & NAMBA but these rules look more like car rules adapted to water. The thing that busts me up the most is that there are 7 classes each of nitro & gas and something like 36 RTR type classes. I think the first full season is going to be a painful learning experience for the APRCRA.......

Course size pretty much rules out most ponds except like Lake Erie, Superior, Ontario, etc etc.

What i understood on this was the top 8 boats from each class that qualify on fri. run for money the rest that dont run for prizes. Robert ps. i still agree with Don though
