anyone running google crome as there wed browser?

I have a friend that had a 5 yearsold Dell laptop and it was slow on there old interenet provider.. there grandson loaded google crome on there laptop and now its very fast.. wanted to know how many of you guys are using it? was told most of the people in CA are using it,thats where my friend grandson lives.

I tried it, its not as good as fire fox, I still run it as a secondary browser and IE as a last resort

I like chrome alot. Only problem is, every tab you open, it opens up another entire google chrome process in windows. So, if you have 15 tabs open, you have 15 google chrome processes running. In other words, its a resource hog. But it was the fastest browser I had used. Im now on firefox both here at home, and at work.

Yup, Agree also,

I run Firefox 7 beta, supposed to use less memory over other releases.

Kinda crazy really.......Win 7 I've got no probs with except IE8, What a PITA!
