Airtronics M11 Question

I need some expert help on the Airtronics M11. I have 6 race boats and currentley have a JR XS3 PLL-SYNTHESIZER on 40MHz I want to upgrade my transmitter only without having to spend another $800++++ in recivers. I have been told by a few people the JR XS3 RS310 3 Channel Synthesized Receiver FM 40MHz is compatible with the 40MHz M11 transmitter. I have tried to contact Airtronics but still no luck. If it is compatible am I able to just get a 40MHz M11 switch it on and go or do i need the module as well. Sorry if this seems a silly question but i no nothing about these newer module systems and don't want to find out i'm up for more $$$ because people are guessing any help or advise would be much appriciated.

Yes you can use an M11 with your Jr rx. Jr, ko, Air, and Mpx are the same modulation, while Futaba, and Hitech share another.
