Guys,

I have been getting a lot of calls about when we were going to post the VooDoo Shootout race in November so here it is "The 3rd Annual World's Fastest RC Boat Shootout" Nov 19th-21st. We are only taking the first 300 boats entered this year so that we can assure getting the race done in a timely fashion. I would not wait until the last minute to enter as you may not get a spot. This race has grown bigger each year and has the fastest racers in the country competing for bragging rights for the following year. We have open classes as well as all G-1 gas classes. Open will be for Electric, Nitro and Gas. We will accept entries here on I.W. but we ask that you please pay before the November 1st deadline. PayPal is excepted and can be paid to this PayPal address [email protected] .

As a added bonus Doug, Kerri and the entire MeTime gang will be there doing the live broadcast for everyone to enjoy that could not make it to the race.

Open water will be Wednesday the 17th and Thursday the 18th from sun up til sun down. We will have our normal Jambalaya Feast on Friday Night after racing is over and On Saturday we will have a Seafood Boil followed by the Rock and Soul band. Fat Boys Catering will also be on location each day cooking seafood and normal concession items. This is the race that everyone talks about so don"t miss out and enter as early as you can.

Come on out and see if you are the world's fastest!!!!!!!!!

Here is the race flyer and entry form:

Guys,

We added all the open classes to this race mainly for the Nitro and the electric guys so that you can come race with us. We have a 300 boat cap and in only one day of taking entries we already have over 70 boats entered and there are quite a lot of the regulars from Florida and other areas that have not signed up yet. This Race is gonna fill up fast and we really would like to have a good mix of boaters. I have talked with Stu Barr and Joe Warren about getting some of the Nitro and Electric to run at our race and was told that the VooDoo club was thought of as a Gas only club. That is as far from the truth as anything could be and we are doing our best to invite more of the Nitro guys to come enjoy the racing at our pond as it is truly a great place to race and have fun with your fellow boaters. If there is anything we can do to accommodate you guys please let us know. Joe told me to add some open classes and he would get some guys to come race.

Get those entries in before we meet the 300 boat count and come enjoy a good time.

Lets get some other nitro guy's to come on down south and run with me.

You wont be sorry and I know you will laugh the whole time your there.

OK guys I would get your entries in fast as we have not even got to the 1st weekend of entries yet and they are already almost 1/2 of the way full in only 4 days and filling up very quickly. We have put a cap of 300 boats this year and we still have a lot of local club members who have not signed up as well as racers like Rey Medina, Giovanni Gonzales, Louis Ayala, Bert Arencibia, James Hohensee, Steve Leslie, Ernest Montgomery, Willie Dennis, Sal Moralles, Sergio Perez, Joe Dugas, Duane Oldfield, Tim Martin, Todd Dempsey and more that have said they were coming. If the rest of the Corbin clan plan on coming that will just about wrap it up with entries.  Don't miss your chance to attend one of the funnest races in the country.
