One of my favorite boats and drivers all time. That is one big boat. I would recommend having towing capability or maybe a pole with a hook on it in your retrieve boat. Gas Scales are a foot or more shorter than that one and they are an absolute back breaker to lift over the side of a retrieve boat, especially with water in them. I run Blazer Lauterbachs which come in at 51 inches and they are bad enough.

What are your plans as far as paint? Or are you going to just getting it dialed in and then paint?

Defiantly planning to get a rope or pole with a hook, or something similar. I found out about trying to put a big boat in the retrieval boat last week. Swamped my 12ft flatbottom while trying to lift my Zippkits SLR Missile into the boat. I plane to test it before paint, so I can change whatever doesn't work.

Yeah that’s a good plan. There’s nothing worse than spending all the time to make a boat look nice and then having it get dinged up when it inevitably blows over or hooks or whatever because your setup isn’t dialed in. It’s a lot easier to make any needed repairs or changes without worrying about your 500.00 paint job in the process.
