1/3 Scale Hydroplanes

Has anyone ever built or seen anything this big before?

Words like Yahoo!! come to mind. How about a new class hehe

If this is the one using a jet ski or snow mobile engine R/C Boat Modeler did an article on it. I'm sure it never took off because of the size. DMV would probably make you get tags for it....LOL :lol:

Wonder if a 250cc dirtbike engine would work.

Think I could talk octura into molding up +4" diameter props lol

Why not just put a 15 hp outboard on it and and sit in it? A lifesize "A" class hydro isn't even that big.

wow, that thing is huge. you can probably get a seat on there and put a transmission in.

A boater in our Dist has a mold for a scale this big. From the looks of the Cowl it a Circus Circus hull..We were supose to lay one up,but he couldn't come up with the funds for the eqiptment needed to get it in the water..Was lay off his job..I think he has the mold stored at his friend old shead. It look about 10 feet long...
