I decided to try and fix the tank. I forgot to take a before pic. You can see the damage in the first pic of this gallery. Here are some of the tools I use to flatten it out. I also use the vise anvil and a piece of aluminum bar clamp in the vise. It gave me a tongue anvil that I could slide into the tank and beat against.
