The test session on July 21st was the only opportunity to get the boat wet prior to leaving for the IMPBA International Regatta, in Jackson, TN. Only six laps were enough to determine whether or not it would be raced. The cowling and dummy motor were left off to prevent any unnecessary damage in case of a mishap.
