I have a .67 Red Head. Have some run time on it. That Crank seems to be holding up as opposed to the .45. My 45 blew a second crank , I returned the mangled engine to the dealer in the box it came in, and walked away from OPS . There was aftermarket cranks like 20 years pluss ago. But every time I run my .67 I am wondering if that one will blow ! I personally don't think they ever fixed their con-rod problem , but I hope I am wrong.
Did your rod blow ?

If you can find an RPM rod, I would put that in. RPM rods are the best, especially for that engine.

Not sure who might sell them.

I have a new RPM OPS 67 rod.  50.00   I also have an OPS 67 new rod that has the lower bushing pinned 40.00, both shipped. Tom Galdys
